As of the current sale (valid through August 1, 2026 or while supplies last), prices range from $315 to $420 per ton depending on the brand: Blackstone ($315/ton), Forest Fuel 23.8lb bags ($400/ton), New England ($415/ton), and Barefoot 40lb bags ($420/ton).

How do I pay for wood pellets, and can I reserve a delivery date?

Wood pellets must be paid in full at the time of purchase using cash, check, or credit card. Layaways and delayed checks are not accepted. The co-op will call the evening before a scheduled delivery and leave a voicemail if there is no answer.

Q: Does Hardwick Farmers Co-Op deliver wood pellets?

Yes. Delivery is available within Zone 1 (Hardwick, Barre, New Braintree, Ware, Petersham, Oakham, North Brookfield, West Brookfield, East Brookfield, Brookfield, Warren, Hubbardston, Rutland, Spencer, and Palmer) and Zone 2 (Orange, Athol, Phillipston, Templeton, Gardner, Princeton, Holden, Paxton, Leicester, Charlton, Sturbridge, Brimfield, Monson, Amherst, and Belchertown). Zone 1 delivery starts at $35 for the first ton, with free delivery on orders of six tons or more. Zone 2 delivery starts at $45 for the first ton, with a $105 flat rate for six tons or more. Customers outside these zones (Zone 3) should call for a delivery quote.

Wood Pellet Delivery

Need your pellets delivered? We've got you covered. To make sure every customer has fuel on hand before the cold weather arrives, deliveries begin as early as possible in the season. The night before your delivery, we'll call to confirm — if you don't answer, we'll leave a voicemail with the details.

Pellets will be placed in your driveway in a location you designate. Please note that all final delivery decisions are made at the driver's discretion based on access and safety. If you run into any issues with your delivery, call us at (413) 477-6913 and we'll do our best to work things out.
