WOOD PELLETS & COAL

The Hardwick Farmers Co-Op carries a complete line of wood pellets and coal products including pea, rice and nut coal in low ash, premium and standard.  Both wood pellets and coal are high-quality renewable energy sources that are clean burning, consistent and efficient.

       New England Wood Pellet - Founded in Acton, MA in 1992 by Steve Walker, New England Wood Pellet LLC is the largest manufacturer and distributor of clean, renewable wood pellet fuel in the northeastern U.S.  Walker moved the company to their flagship facility in Jaffrey NH in 1999.  In an effort to keep pace with rapidly increasing demand for wood pellet fuel, the company recently reorganized in anticipation of major expansion plans.  The company is now owned by Walker and several other investors.

        Ambiance Wood Pellets - by Valfei Products Inc. of Quebec, Canada are a premium grade wood pellet.  Valfei is located just 10 minutes from the Vermont border and delivers throughout the northeastern US.  They are also a distributor of horticultural products and a Christmas tree grower.

        Kimmel's Coal - Located in Wiconisco, Pennsylvania, Kimmel's Coal is a major producer of Anthracite coal a hard natural coal that burns slowly and gives intense heat. Anthracite Coal will satisfy your heating needs and is an economical source of energy, and is the most environmentally friendly coal, both in its clean burning and in the reclamation of the land after mining.

       Barefoot Pellet Company - Located in the scenic Endless Mountains of Troy, Pennsylvania, Barefoot Pellet Company manufactures some of the highest quality wood pellets in the industry.  Having other family owned companies in the dimension lumber business since 1929 and the hardwood flooring business since 2001, making wood pellets from our hardwood sawdust and waste material was a logical step.  Quality wood products have always been a trademark of our companies and Barefoot Pellet Company will continue that tradion!
