LIVESTOCK & HORSE FEED The Hardwick Farmers Co-Op carries a complete line of feeds produced by some of the best manufacturers in the business.
Poulin Grains-It is the mission of Poulin Grain,Inc. to be the leaders in the feed and agricultural field by producing “Quality Focused” products and “Cutting Edge” customer service at fair price, while maintaining a profitable company that provides a safe and happy workplace designed to benefit all of the people that dedicate themselves to making Poulin Grain successful. Blue Seal Grains-In 1868, Henry K Webster rented a small grist mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and started the H.K. Webster Company, a business that would grow into one of the largest feed manufacturing companies in the Northeast, Blue Seal Feeds, Inc. In the early days, the emphasis of the business was on supplying horse feed. That product line has grown to include feeds for dairy cattle, beef cattle, horses, sheep , goats, llamas, pigs, deer, dogs, cats, rabbits, wild birds, caged birds, poultry, herbivore zoo animals, and fish as well as products for the lawn and garden. Nutrena Grains-Nutrena has been leading winners for more than three generations with new and innovative nutrition products that continue to set the standard in performance. Learn more about our superior products from someone who cares as much about your animal's nutrition as you do. Organic Green Mountain Feeds - Green Mountain Feeds is a locally owned family business. They started manufacturing certified organic feeds in 1998 at their mill in Leicester, VT (Depot Farm Supply, Inc.) for some local organic farms in Addison County. Very shortly after they started manufacturing organic dairy feeds for local farms, they started to see a demand for poultry and pig feeds as well. As the demand increased for these feeds we found that the Leicester Facility could no longer handle the growth of their organic feed line. In November of 2002, they purchased the old Vermont Organic Grain plant in Bethel, Vermont. This allowed them to expand and to provide a larger variety of bagged products as well as removing the "dual facility" worries. They now manufacture over 2000 tons of organic feed per month at their Bethel facility. Owner, Rick Dutil graduated from UVM in 1974 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and has been in the feed business for over 30 years. He is proud of a team that responds to customers needs and cares about the quality of the products they manufacture.
